The Woods is a psychological horror story that begins when a neglected teenager named Heather is dropped off by her parents at a remote all-girls boarding school deep in the forest. Watched over by sinister headmistress Ms. Traverse and her staff, Heather is tormented by her classmates and is desperate to go home. But when students start disappearing and she begins to have horrifying visions, Heather realizes things at the school are not what they seem. She only knows there's something out there in the woods - and it won't be letting her leave any time soon.

Heather is a red-headed sassy young woman who is dropped off at a boarding school by her parents due to being kicked out of several previous schools for starting fires. She quickly gets singled out being the new girl being teased and tormetted by fellow students being called "fire-crotch" along with other nasty things. Soon Heather's friends begin disapearing and dying and she begins to fight back against the secrets and unknown things surrounding her...but she has a secret of her own.

Agnes plays Heather, the lead female. The film is the second from Lucky McKee, who made is directorial debut with the cult favorite May. Angela Bettis who played the title role in May, Lucky's first film does some voice work in this movie. The film has been shelved since 2004. M. Night Shyamalan had to change the title of his film "The Woods" to The Village. After a long wait of post-poned release dates the film was finally released on October 3rd, straight to DVD.
