A slightly different twist to the classic forbidden-love clichèġill offer werewolves and Agnes Bruckner in what she described as the best shape of her life. The new horror-romance thriller, "Blood and Chocolate," which is based on Annette Curtis Klause's novel, appeared in theaters Friday. Starring: Agnes Bruckner, Hugh Dancy, Oliver MartinezBruckner, who also played in the hit television series "24" and the 2006 horror movie "The Woods," said in a conference call that the movie "has everything." "It's a love story and it has action and gore," she said. "It's just a fun movie for anyone to go see." Directed by Katja von Garnier, "Blood and Chocolate" tells the story of 19-year-old Vivian, who falls in love with American tourist Aiden played by Hugh Dancy - better known from his role as Galahad in the 2005 movie "King Arthur." Vivian is stuck between her family secret of being a werewolf and her love for Aiden. Bruckner said she has always had a thing for werewolves and was a huge fan of "Underworld." "When I read the script I thought it was such a cool idea. It shows werewolves aren't just monsters," she said. "In the movie they are still scary, but at the same time they have a completely different life, with relationships and feelings. The way the movie portrays werewolves is what drew me to this movie." Bruckner said she thinks the movie is perfectly titled. "'Blood and Chocolate' describes Vivian as a whole with blood being the werewolf side and chocolate being the human side of her," she said. Bruckner said she didn't think her character being a werewolf changes the way the audience will feel about Vivian. She said she hopes people will find in the movie a realization that everyone struggles. "Vivian is going through a lot of things young girls her age do, like falling in love and wanting to be in love with that person," Bruckner said. She said it was the most enjoyable movie she's done yet. She will continue acting and hopes to try to do some comedy in the future. "I've been doing a lot of crying and screaming in the horror genre," she said.
